What we do

The ATC is primarily a youth organisation that aims to deliver a wide range of activities and skills both for the enjoyment of the cadet and also their development as a member of our society.

As such the activities on offer are designed to provide the cadet with skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork and initiative. These transferable skills are highly sought after in the work place and so just being a cadet puts each member that extra step ahead of the pack.

Flying and Gliding

As Air Cadets, our main activities our flying and gliding. The ATC operates a number of types of aircraft for the purpose of giving cadets the opportunity to enjoy the thrills of aerobatic flying, the panoramic views of climbing above the clouds and, ultimately, the chance to learn to fly under the guidance of full-time RAF pilots.
